Description
One (2015) is a duo for flute and clarinet composed for Laura Salfen and Gary Fair, in a Composers Alliance San Antonio project. In this piece I explore the beauty of unisons, the variety in their simplicity, the possibilities of blend and timbral changes. To play the same note is deceptively simple. With this piece a duo becomes one instrument.
