Child pianists concert – Composers Alliance San Antonio (CASA)

On Sunday afternoon, May 20, 2018, The Composers Alliance of San Antonio proudly presented “Made in SA IV,” the fourth in its series of concerts of new music written for young pianists. Free and open to the public, the concert featured solo and duet music written from elementary-intermediate level from CASA’s score collection “Made in SA“.

An enthusiastic crowd of students, parents and teachers, as well as several composers from the Made in SA series gathered at the Luella Bennack Music Center, University of the Incarnate Word, to enjoy the music especially composed for them. A very special thank you to the piano teachers: Xiaoke Cheng, Charles Goodhue, Susan Hong, Ana Kiefer, Ara Koh, Dustin Stephens, Sara Toudouze, and Karen Lien, and all others who helped make the concert a success.

The Grenardo brothers duo Moses, 7, and Solomon, 9,
premiere “Meet You at the Finish Line” by Yvonne Freckmann to close the concert.
