\u00a0I won a Fulbright Grant!!!<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

On Tuesday March 20th, 2014 I received the long-awaited email informing me that I have been selected for a 2014-2015 Fulbright U.S. Student Award to the Netherlands. \u00a0Shocked, honored, and excited, I began to spread the good news. \u00a0This has been my second year applying for this grant, and I had completely changed proposed countries, mentors, and my project. \u00a0The University of Louisville has an office dedicated to helping students apply, and I owe thanks to Dr. Patricia Condon, Emily Maiden, my teachers, recommenders, proofreaders, and supportive friends and family.<\/p>\n

I plan to chronicle my experiences on this page and look forward to writing more updates soon!<\/p>\n
