The first measure and opening motive, which is comprised of six pitches, provides the seed from which all other\u00a0melodies, motives and gestures grow. The <em>Bel Fiore String Quartet\u00a0<\/em>premiered the first movement of <em>Oscillations<\/em> in the Sheldon Museum\u00a0of Art&#8217;s Abbott Auditorium on Friday, June 10, 2011.
