Virtual Concert: Composer’s Alliance San Antonio

Sharing music from our homes, schools, churches, or recording studios members of CASA (the Composers Alliance San Antonio) launched a virtual concert of a great variety of music streamed live on YouTube on November 15, 2020, called “Meditations, Prayers, Visions.”

Particularly inspiring were the numer of composers playing their own music during this time of the pandamic, and the chance to get a sense of what everyone is working on these days or had recorded of late. It felt – even as I watched on the monitor with which I work every day – that I was part of something meaningful, a positive sharing of music to which we dedicate ourselves.

Looking forward to more future editions!
